Maureen worked as an assistant to photographer and director Florian Seidel in Munich before she obtained her BA in Photography at the London Institute, College of Printing. During her studies she learned the basics of web programming which she expanded on in the following years as a freelance web developer and designer. Currently she is developing the online citizen science platform coastwards.org which aims at expanding the global coastal database that underpins the Dynamic Interactive Vulnerability Assessment (DIVA) modelling framework. She has also made contributions to the design and layout of publications and policy briefs.
